Turn the business need into a choice of tools or suppliers, and steer that supplier until it is in use.
These are examples. During the introduction we define which assignment we take on and how we will both see that it has succeeded.
Who does what
Before we start we set out which part of the work sits with us, which part with your own people, and for what we need someone else. That keeps work from falling between two stools.
What we take on ourselves
The work within our own fields: Wim in sales, IT and finance, Ilona in marketing, recruitment and operations. We carry it out, not only advise on it.
What we do with your team
Everything that has to keep running at your end after the assignment. Working methods we devise alone disappear once we leave; what your people helped build, stays.
Where we look for a specialist
Technical execution, legal or tax questions and specialised software. We do not build that ourselves and we do not pretend to. We do help you find and steer the right party.
Responsibility, decision-making authority and the expected contribution from both sides are agreed beforehand, together with the moments at which we review progress.

We agree the question, the work, the people involved and what progress should look like.
Agree time and fees
Involvement and fee are settled before we start, tailored to the assignment. No open ending and no after-the-fact billing.
Review and adjust
We review progress at agreed moments and decide together whether to adjust, continue or finish.
The people doing the work
You work directly with Ilona and Wim. We shape vision and strategy together; our practical involvement follows the areas above and the needs of the assignment.
Is your question about AI?
More and more assignments run through AI: building quotes faster, making files searchable, preparing recurring email. We put it in place when it pays off, and say so when it does not.
Practical questions
Do we have to do Set your course first?
No. You can bring us in directly for an assignment. A strategy exercise helps when the direction itself is unclear, not as a condition for working with us.
How many days a week are you there?
We agree that per assignment. It can be one day a week or a few days a month. We settle it before we start and adjust it when the work calls for it.
Do you take on a management role?
Usually not: we take on a clearly bounded assignment with agreed decision-making authority, while final responsibility stays with you. If the situation calls for us to carry full responsibility for a role temporarily, we agree that separately: which decisions sit with us, what we are accountable for and how we hand it back.
Do we work with Ilona or with Wim?
With whoever is best placed for the work. Wim takes on sales, IT and finance, Ilona marketing, recruitment and operations. For strategic questions we are both there.
Could the next step also need capital?
For selected established businesses, we also consider investing, with shares or a subordinated loan. We usually agree paid support alongside it, but that is not a condition. It remains a separate arrangement from engaging us for practical work alone.
